Mushroom Chocolate Bars in Memphis: TRE House, Silly Farms, Strange, Rize and Zour Dream Compared

We stock eight mushroom chocolate products from six brands at our Memphis shop, and they’re not interchangeable. Printed blend amounts run from 2,000 mg per two-piece pack to 24,000 mg per bar, and prices run from $8.99 to $74.99. Here’s what each box prints, how we’d start, and how to store it.

How do the mushroom chocolate bars on our Memphis shelf compare?

Six brands sit in our edibles case: TRE House, Silly Farms, Strange, Rize, Zour Dream and Road Trip. Each is a functional or nootropic mushroom blend set in chocolate, scored or split into pieces for portioning. Browse the full mushroom chocolate category online, or read on.

Only TRE House’s listing gives a chocolate net weight, 50 g (1.76 oz). Where the others print grams or milligrams, that figure is the blend amount, not the chocolate weight. The per-piece math in the table is ours where a box doesn’t print it.

Brand by brand: what each box prints

Here’s each listing in plain terms, with the brand’s own serving guidance where it gives one.

TRE House Extra-Strength, 15 squares

The TRE House bar is handmade, 50 g (1.76 oz), scored into 15 squares, $34.99. The box prints High-Potency Mushroom Chocolate, Extra-Strength, Contains Milk and Soy, and 21+. Three flavors: Fruity Cereal (white chocolate with fruity rice cereal), Peanut Butter and Chocolate Crunch. TRE House says start with a partial serving if you’re new to the brand.

Silly Farms 7g and 10g

Silly Farms comes in two sizes. The 7g bar is pre-scored into snap-off squares, $29.99, with the longest flavor list in the case: Smores, Milk Chocolate, Fruity Tunes, Cinnamagic, Matcha Heaven, Strawberry Milkshake, Wavy Wafer, Caramel Crunch, Cookies and Magic, and Buttercup.

The 10g bar is one flavor, Dubai Chocolate: milk chocolate with pistachio and roasted kadayif filling, 3 pieces, about 3,333 mg of Silly Blend per piece, $39.99. The brand names the blend (Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Chaga, Reishi) and lists milk, tree nuts and wheat as allergens. Silly Farms suggests 1 piece to start and the whole bar for experienced users only.

Strange 8g

Strange is the mushroom line from the team behind Voodoo Labs and STACK’D. Each resealable box holds one foil-wrapped bar that breaks into 10 pieces, with 8 grams of proprietary blend per box, about 800 mg a piece, $39.99. Flavors: Chocolate Chunk, S’mores, Cookies N’ Cream and Frooty Pebbles.

The bar is vegan, and every batch is third-party lab tested by PharmLabs. Strange’s own chart calls 1 to 2 pieces “A Lil’ Odd”, 3 to 4 “A Bit Peculiar”, and 5 or more “Completely Strange”, for seasoned users only.

Rize Megadose 12G and Rize X 24,000MG

Rize prints the biggest blend numbers in the case. Both bars use Lion’s Mane extract and Rize’s organic mushroom alkaloid extract, scored into tiles. The 12G bar, labeled Megadose 12G on the sleeve, comes in Milk Crunch (milk chocolate with crisped rice) and Shortcake Dream (white chocolate, strawberry and shortcake notes), $59.99.

Rize X is the step up: 24,000 mg on a 33% organic cacao milk chocolate, scored into 1,000 mg tiles, $74.99. Caramel Crunch layers caramel with crispy quinoa; Peanut Butter Crunch adds peanut butter and a crisp texture. Rize says it’s only for adults already comfortable with the 12G bar.

Zour Dream 2,000MG, two pieces

Zour Dream is the lowest buy-in here, and it isn’t a bar. Each $8.99 pack holds two pieces with 2,000 mg of proprietary blend, so 1,000 mg per piece as printed. Four flavors: Strawberry Milk, Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel and Milk Chocolate. The listing doesn’t pin down the species in the blend.

Road Trip Desert Stardust

Road Trip’s Desert Stardust bar breaks into 8 squares, $29.99, and the listing prints neither a blend weight nor a net weight. Of its four flavors (Milk Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry Crunch, Dark Orange Chocolate), only Dark Orange Chocolate is in stock as we write this.

How do you start with a mushroom chocolate bar?

One square, then wait. Every brand here agrees: Strange says one piece and wait, Silly Farms says wait 60 to 90 minutes, Rize says one tile or less and at least an hour, Road Trip starts beginners at half a piece. We say the same at the counter.

Which square, though? One square isn’t one amount. A Strange piece is about 800 mg of blend. A Zour Dream piece or a Rize X tile is 1,000 mg. One piece of the Silly Farms 10g bar is about 3,333 mg, roughly four Strange squares. Pick your bar by the size of the square, not the size of the bar.

House rules: read the whole sleeve before you break the first piece, because the physical label always wins over anything online, this post included. Don’t stack a bar with other products until you know how it sits with you, and don’t drive after.

How should you store a mushroom chocolate bar?

Below 75°F, in its box, resealed. We keep our case under 75°F and suggest the same at home; Memphis heat turns a scored bar into one lump and takes the portion lines with it. Strange foil-wraps its bar to resist melting and packs it in a resealable box.

Keep the sleeve, too. Rize prints the tile chart, ingredients and warnings on it, and TRE House prints its allergens on the box; a loose bar in a baggie tells you nothing. Store it out of reach of kids and pets, and never in a glove box in July.

FAQ

Do these mushroom chocolate bars contain THC?

Strange’s listing says no THC, no cannabinoids and no Amanita, and its published PharmLabs reports show cannabinoids as not detected. The other listings don’t make a THC statement either way, so read the sleeve and the batch lab report for the bar you’re holding.

Are these mushroom chocolate bars lab tested?

Strange says every batch is third-party tested by PharmLabs, and Silly Farms posts a full-panel COA for its 10g bar. TRE House and Rize paperwork is batch-specific; look for a QR code on the box. Our COAs page collects what we have on file, or ask at the counter.

Which mushroom chocolate bar should a first-timer pick?

Pick by the size of the piece. Strange works out to about 800 mg a piece, and Zour Dream prints 1,000 mg a piece at $8.99 for two, the lowest buy-in on the shelf. Road Trip’s chart starts beginners at half a square.
